Seems a little more straight forward "metal" that Gin, but damn it goes hard.

Charlie Fell as the vocalist is like if Raphael had painted the Sistine Chapel Cieling.

yea, I'm kinda disappointed with this. lacks that raw animalistic aggression and intensity, even riffs themselves aren't on the same level as before. vocals are great tho.

What finesse Kate Bush has. Her vocal dexterity is truly comparable to none; her pure singing, akin to her graceful dance, gliding so effortlessly like a skater on ice. This demonstration of her beautiful dancing, all thanks to Lindsay Kemp of course, really completes the ultimate message so many of her songs convey; she is so full of ardor, and she must show it, whatever the circumstance, whoever this 'stranger' she mentions really is. Oh! The hurt done from this person who deprived her of love.

New vocalist rules, (guys from Lord Mantis so no brainer there) but this new record doesn't have that old Cobalt essence all that much. Thing goes a bit overboard in that whole wilderness aspect without actually having the instrumental savagery to back the whole thing up.

It might be a grower and I should probably listen again but I only have so many years to live
