Sounds like every other HSB song. Rules
|
| |
Sounds pretty tight. Might have to check these guys out.
|
| |
If you do I'd start with Antigone my personal fav of theirs
|
| |
"death metalcore"
lmao
band's always been solid tho
|
| |
Better than the first single [2]
|
| |
song's so heavy it dropped down the news section.
|
| |
Now THIS is what I wanted. Sounds like classic HSB
|
| |
"melodic death metalcore"
yep, that's actually fairly accurate
|
| |
So much better than the first song
|
| |
I never listened to this band before, but I am really liking this song.
|
| |
Way better than the first single as people mentioned. Now my hopes for the album are back up.
|
| |
Good stuff!
|
| |
This was great, I've always loved his vocals
|
| |
I love it when the beginning of a song is so unapologetically heavy and dumb that it makes me laugh.
"there is no war to end all wars" that's a nice line.
|
| |
These guys are pretty solid. Most of their albums have a least a few songs I enjoy, which isn't something I can say for most metalcore bands.
|
| |
The guitar tone on this is so nice.
|
| |
unapologetically ? WTF, ur drunk?
|
| |
Kev's prob sober; just using turns of phrase you're not familiar with?
|
| |
A million times better than the first single, holy shit. The chorus is mighty fine!
|
| |
oh hell yeah
|
| |
Better than the first song [666]

Damn this rules

good song. a little simple, and I don't necessarily feel like its as heavy as others do, but it does what it does pretty well. vocals are strong. lyrical subject is strong, lyrics themselves could be stronger. Whole song could use just one more good hard look at itself to be better, instrumentally, more-so lyrically, playing the victim with an appearance of being hard-ass while taking no personal responsibility. kind've annoying.just a pretty vague portrait of acting pridefully/self-infatuatedly and then choosing to recognize and blame an abstract concept of 'war,' run by gods of profit, when the war seems to have functioned off ppl like him wanting to go to war, something the infatuated heavy and adrenaline pumping sound eludes to, at least in equal measure to ppl profiting off of it. I'll keep listening to it probably, but the kind've pussy/infatuated manner of it all definitely prevents me from enjoying the heaviness appropriately. but i guess it is "heaven shall burn" lol.

and ya ya, looking too much into it, etc, i prefer looking into things
|
| |
as innovative as it is subtle, but nevertheless a good fun track .
|
| |
One riff in the whole song i thought was decent. This album is going to blow. Veto never sounded this uninspired.
