 | BenThatsMyJamin Yeah if you're looking for somewhere else to go the UK is a great political middle ground, strong sense of conserving heritage and culture but at the same time almost fully westernised. Only bad thing is the racists here are way scarier than American ones. Very small minority though, absolutely adore living here. Those are some dope shows man, srsly need to see down and eyehategod soon. And I always thought NOLA sounded like the perfect place for me, this only confirms ;)

Probably sounds strange but I've always felt more of an affinity with the south than the north and Midwest, dunno if it's simply the music that has come out of there (NOLA - what a place...)but always seemed to me like there is a lot more culture there. I was in cali which all seemed so fake and sterile, plastic city after plastic city and revoltingly politically correct. Was not a fan of the people or the culture at all but that's just me

| BenThatsMyJamin Bro sorry I've been away but you should def check out Blind by CoC - completely different to their later southern metal/nu-sabbath sound and more retro heavy metal mixed with sludge and hardcore attitude and a beast of a guitar sound... one of the most unique and overlooked albums of the 90s and actually pretty innovative

 | Deathconscious sure dude, check Wolf Eyes - Human Animal and Shrine - Nihil. i see youve listened to Shrine's Somnia. imagine that album except in dark ambient form, thats pretty much what Nihil is. its stylistically similar, just with a drastically different tone. Human Animal tries to be unsettling through use of weird sounds and dissonance, and is more, ahh...animalistic. let me know what you think.

You mentioned terrorism and some bands, yeah bro, for sure its some crazy coincidence lead to Isis being mixed with terrorist(and the story is not over yet)... What a crazy world we live in. People around me care less about isis t shirt, but anything with satanist symbols mostly likely will get you in trouble. Try Mahavisnu Orchestra, better than any post rock band and still super original, the sound you just naturally adore.
