This record will be a very important point of contention in this scene of music. It takes elements from a multitude of sub-genres and fuses them beautifully with nuance, maturity and passion. Easily one of the best records of the year.

a good metalcore band should always try and bend the rules, and so far this has been interesting. "Time" has been stuck in my head for a while now.

Singles so far are pretty impressive and noticeably closer to their roots than The Act was. I'm pretty excited honestly.

Aside from Mikes weak vocals, the instrumentals from this band disappoint. Chris Rubey was at least capable of writing fun and interesting riffs, for example dez moines, sassafras, outnumbered and my questions. They replaced him with the most average guitarist in metalcore and have suffered severely since.

Kid music from a band that makes kid music. Surprisingly, good production and decent instrumentation make this kind of tolerable. The clean vocal writing is some of the worst I've ever heard in 15 years of listening to metalcore.

Thought this would be way better after some great singles, Sacrifice and Time in particular, but rthis was a disappointment unfortunately. Wish more songs sounded like Hallucinate and less boring rpoppy songs. Still enjoyable though.
