4.0 excellent | Hawks CONTRIBUTOR | April 28th 24 | Finally some prog metal thats not a cheesefest! Gets very Meshuggah-ish at times with some rhythmic chugging and Jens-esque harsh vox and then goes straight up Focus era Cynic at other times with jazzy riffage and robotic cleans. Far from just another overlong boring prog album. Great stuff.

4.0 excellent | artificialbox STAFF | May 25th 24 | Hijacking The Zeitgeist is another album that I mostly checked due to the album art, but Exist quickly caught me off guard and captured my heart with this one. Metal which is progressive and whimsical while still firmly rooted in traditions of rock n' roll is always a winning recipe for me. This album is just very focused on sick grooves and even sicker riffs. The songs are memorable and structurally familiar with just enough melodic curveballs thrown in to evoke an emotional connection that will keep you coming back.

4.0 excellent | Chino smoking it up! | April 27th 24 | This has all the ingredients to a bloated
record. Yet, 36 minutes in runtime are bloody
perfect to this type of proggy jazzy techy
djenty metal. They use a lot of melodic vocals
like Cynic, but the harshes go straight on
Meshuggah. The ballance is kinda perfect and
freshy I'd say. Plenty of room to experiment.
For the likes of the following bands, besides
the forementioned - Warforged, Fallujah, RoN,
The Contortionist. A very welcome release for
me.
