Although ABC uses lots of emo characteristics (yelled vocals, wall of sound by the double guitars, ), the laid back quiet parts and the outbursted loud parts are for the most part absent. Anyway, it's not all that different but it's the style that originated in the Midwest of the USA by bands like Mineral, Sunny Day Real Estate and Jimmy Eat World.
