	The Contortionist Language There are some really interesting ideas here, but by the second half of the album I find myself going "I get it. It's really complicated. It's really pretty. Cool." It gets redundant is what I guess I'm saying. I have listened to progressive metal for a long time, so maybe I'm jaded, but this album falls into the same overcomplicated groove that so many albums in the genre have before. I think bands like this tend to hide behind complexity to make up for the fact that they don't have a unique idea. For all it's fireworks, this album kind of all sounds the same.
