| ComeToDaddy Come To Life and Metalingus would probably be the best places to start with them if you like riffing. They're both pretty simple and really fun to play

| ComeToDaddy For alt-rock, I found Alter Bridge excellent for learning. They have a whole variety of styles and difficulty levels on guitar, and are a very accessible band. You'll probably dig them (:I haven't played many of the bands in your ratings except for ABR and Sikth. ABR are great for developing alternate picking technique but aren't that fun to riff to, the reason they're fun is their lead work but it's really not a good place to start working on that haha. Iron Maiden would be a better bet
