A band that has always been phenomenally, devastatingly normal on the outside has always harboured a mighty soul. They reign things in here to such an extent it takes a few listens for this one to reveal its majesty but once it does it?s spectacular. For me this is the only record I?ve heard in life that makes me actually appreciate what I have in my own. Staggering.

Flotation Toy Warning Bluffer's Guide to the Flight Deck
Gandalf's Fist The Clockwork Fable
A rip roaring 3 hour prog musical radio play wrapped around a steampunk setting incorporating a myriad of characters
including eccentric inventors, automatons with hearts of gold, religious tyrants and heroes all played out within a living
breathing
world where you can almost feel the dank, grease, grime and oppression. It also has the lad from Gremlins in it.rIf this
isn?t
an accomplishment worthy of a 5 then absolutely nothing is.

For twenty years this has been a constant that has never lost any of its magic. Nostalgia

Bright Side and Dark Side mixes offer up a different listening experience of what is a phenomenally rich record wistfully
musing on decay, life, age, new beginnings and love with absolutely outstanding production and seemless flow. Possibly
the greatest record ever made by a septuagenarian. The dark-side mix is the one to listen to but both are essential.

Now this is what I?m talking about. A genuine slice of guitar based alt rock that cuts a swathe and shows the
pretenders how it should be done by appearing effortless, honest and shimmies with a purpose. The only people

Rival Consoles Persona
A progressive, electronic cinematic oeuvre that climaxes in a record that juxtaposes the frailty of the persona with
the euphoria of unhindered abandonment of conscious self enlightenment. Laying down a framework of loose,
unfurling automated melancholy these instrumental soundscapes are anchored in an emblematic nod to Ingmar
Bergmans nom de simulaire filmic piece by utilising minimal beats to act as conduit.rIn short, considering I was
giving it a miss cos rival consoles sounds like an emo brat band pile of shite, this album has knocked me bollocks
off.

Steve Mason About The Light
Sowing has mistakenly made a sound off about his general taste in music and failed to mention this album by Steve which is a brilliant return to form with some massive sing along moments and is as a highly recommended listen.
Steve Rothery The Ghosts Of Pripyat
Steven Wilson To the Bone
If this gets an average of at least 4 it'll mean that Steve hasn't released an album seen as anything other than excellent and will confirm him as a sput greatest artist of the 21st century. Cunt bangs on about trains and doesn't wear shoes.

I don?t know if this is the biggest bag of bollocks ever conceived or it?s an absolute work of genius. All I do know is you brat saps who bang on about nostalgia haven?t got the first fucking idea unless you were born between 1970-80 and listen to picture box while tears spill down your cheeks and the rage inside burns. The sort of bloke you feel like lobbing a pint glass at during one of those summer folk festivals in places like Leigh on Sea pulls off a blinder of an album due to combining bollocks with everyday relatable tales and good natured wit. British as fuck to boot as well which is always a plus in this day and age.

'Pop punk' made by men who want to smash their bosses face in prior to having a few beers and going home to their wives to make love before the onset of morning and the inevitable crippling depression of it all.rAs opposed to 'pop punk' made by all the adult juveniles pretending to have furious feelings about their teachers, tokes on joints, crushes on girls and being happy at the excitability and adventure of life.r

HAIM Days Are Gone
A down on their luck trio who kick against the pricks and lambast the current culture with a record that is pure vitriolic fire that inspires a generation and gives voice to the youth. I am of course taking the piss.
HAIM Something To Tell You
Having burst onto the scene with a call to arms warning alarm that awoke the youth, this renegade trio continue with their take no prisoners attitude while crafting songs of unmatched hubris and spite rallying their ever swelling fan base into a lather of collective fury and individual rage.......yep I'm still taking the piss.
Hot Mulligan You'll Be Fine
Another bullshit twanging band with a cunt of a singer whose intonation on every single over pronounced fucking word is broken up by the occasional brat wail which remonstrates with as much pain as a child whose dropped his ice cream or having a go at their mom for not getting a two thousand dollar guitar for Christmas. Anyone who forms this sort of shit or indeed listens to it and god forbid likes it for some unfathomable reason should be put against the fucking wall.

Jimmy Eat World Integrity Blues
Rock has been diluted by the talentless norm. There are no trail blazers, provocateurs and people needing to
speak out anymore, they've been silenced by the brainwashed. Everyone and anyone can do it. Become part of
the mulch and release an album. It's as easy as 1,2,3. Look even Jimmy Eat World get lauded for fuck sake.

*Gobble gobble slurp slurp swallow* Aftertaste isn't half as bad as this nonsense.

The Dear Hunter All Is As All Should Be
All is all should be. Namely people heap praise on watered down, flavourless, asinine drivel that does absolutely nothing other than titilate gormless brats who haven?t questioned anything in their vapid little lives. And when I say people I obviously mean sput yank brats who shit themselves and dish out 4-5s over this sort of bollocks. Have you fuckers ever thought once about listening to The Who and possibly kissing a girl?

Brand New Science Fiction
The late comedian Bill Hicks once said of what made great music- "I want someone who plays from his fucking heart." With this definition in mind, one would be hard pressed to find one more fitting than singer-songwriter Jesse Lacey to completely go against Bills sentiment. Band is fake shit. Deal with it brats.
Bring Me the Horizon That's the Spirit
Busted Night Driver
If this were a new band called Neon Renegade and the 80s pastiche gimmick stuck with the brats as a fun, fresh musical direction this would be album of 2016. The actual facts are it's plastic rubbish churned out by whores who are desperate to cling on to the transparent nothing they held for almost 5mins because they were a 9yr old girls fave band for 5seconds. I have no doubt sowing will 4.5 it.
Chris de Burgh Into the Light
Deaf Havana Rituals
A vapid, emotionless record void of creativity or worth. This is apparent rock music. For whom does the bell toll, the scene, the artist or the horde of subjugated brats who?ve lost their ability to question and deride any form of anger against the pap force fed them by the corporate marketing clones. This is an album of nothing for the betterment of nobody with the intention of becoming needless to the needy. Burn it and ignite the flame in your soul to bring back some swagger and bollocks that you?ve sacrificed in order to become just another hapless cunt who has yet to engage in the real deal.

There's albums you hate at first and then come back to them and realise there's greatness to be had. This on the other hand is a fucking embarrassment that'll never be pulled back from the bin. If your dad made it you'd think he'd had a breakdown if your brother made it you'd call him a cunt.

The doors have been blown clean off. All the confusion, anger, disenchantment and displacement have been answered by the holy grail of rock n roll. This album is the answer. You can't mold dissatisfaction you channel it and by god this is the single greatest answer ever recorded. I thought Jimmy Eat World was the bestest but this is even betterer.
