And So I Watch You From Afar All Hail Bright Futures
Blu and Exile Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them
This is one of the best consistently-good-start-to-finish hip hop albums I have ever laid ears on.
Deftones Koi No Yokan
Follow The White Rabbit Endorphinia
This is hands down my AOTY for 2012. The album, to me, is perfect.

Melt Yourself Down Melt Yourself Down
Pond (AUS) Hobo Rocket
Holy shit. I think this has a potential to be bumped up to a 5.0 after a month or so of listening. This album takes you on a trip, with a whole range of emotion to be felt while experiencing it. Successfully psychedelic.

3.0 good
Antlered Man This Devil Is Them
Cold War Kids Mine is Yours
Daft Punk Random Access Memories
Emancipator Dusk to Dawn
Not as good as "Safe in the steep cliffs" and almost underwhelming compared to it, but if we don't compare this album alongside the rest of the discog then it isn't a bad album.
Karnivool Asymmetry
I appreciated the moodiness and subtle beauty this had to offer, but I feel I get a lot more out of listening to Porcupine Tree albums unfortunately and this felt like a replica of PT to me. I know I'm being awful comparing bands, but, it was sort of a smack in the face to me.
The Gaslamp Killer Breakthrough
These New Puritans Field of Reeds
There are moments I really love and *almost* become captivated, but some of the singing parts sound so amateur to me in ways that are not charming - these specific singing moments really bring my score down for this album. Another aspect that didn't gel with me all that well were elements that sounded like 80s/90s sitcom/drama credits music, kind of like a cousin to elevator music. Either way, I am in fact still interested to check out other albums.
Trifonic Ninth Wave
Honestly think this is a downgrade from the last release (Emergence). Still a huge fan of Trifonic though.

2.5 average
Baroness Yellow and Green
Causa Sui Euporie Tide
Cult of Luna Vertikal
El-P Cancer 4 Cure
Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience
KEN mode Entrench
Long Distance Calling The Flood Inside
Owen L'Ami du Peuple
Pretty Lights A Color Map of The Sun
Not really understanding the hype. Some tracks are great, but as an album this doesn't flow for me. Some tracks such as "Press Pause" are pretty irritating.
Steven Wilson The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)

2.0 poor
Alice in Chains The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here
Cold War Kids Dear Miss Lonelyhearts
He Is Legend Suck Out the Poison
Kanye West Yeezus

1.0 awful
Kid Cudi Indicud
Something tells me Cudi is getting too comfortable and complacent with all his money/success. I become less and less impressed with each release, though I did love The End of Day and did in fact enjoy his second LP, this downward trend crash dived with this "Inicud" release. I feel pretty sad about it and am questioning if I am still a fan of the Cudi.
Soap and Skin Sugarbread
I can't listen to crap that features soundbits that sound like a woman getting raped. Yeah, no thanks.
