So far my rgripes are:r1. Some songs meander with their slow parts.r2. The mixing is bad. Listening in my car with no EQ set, the bass overtook the sound rmore times than not. I had to turn the bass down in my car 2 notches and it still felt a rbit overpowering. Also, quiet parts are too quiet. Pale Communion had this issue too. If ryou are listening to this album anywhere where there's just a bit of background noise, rthen you'll be hearing a lot of silence.rI do enjoy the 60's/70's prog worship though. It's not for some people. There will always rbe those who will come and shit on an Opeth album for not having anymore growls, but the rsongwriting here is still of good quality. Rest assured they'll never be as horrendous as rIn Flames.rEDIT: It also helps that there's a metal(ish) album I can light up to and enjoy with my rdad.
