Glassjaw Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence
This probably doesn't need another soundoff, but screw it. This album is my favorite album of all time. It changed the way I listen to music so dramatically. I was a typical early 2000s nu-metal kid, mostly listening to Linkin Park, Korn and the like. Somehow I downloaded Siberian Kiss off Limewire and loved it so much I bought the CD the next day at FYE. Daryl Palumbo pulls off one of the best vocal performances of all time. His lyrics are sometimes over the top angry girlfriend type thing, but they fit the music. He can go from screaming to soft singing really well. The instruments aren't the focal point but are good enough. Ross Robinson's trademark frantic production also adds to the chaos, but it's still controlled enough. Easy 5/5 post-hardcore classic.

The remix is what you'd expect now from Giles Martin and co. The songs are clearer, louder and more direct. The outtakes are a great add on for die-hards. And the Esher demos are sometimes better than their non demo counterparts.
The Blood Brothers ...Burn, Piano Island, Burn
This album sounded really weird to me first few listens. But the more I listened to it, the more I loved it. Hard grower. Now it's one of my favorite PHC albums. Just fantastic song writing.

The Doors Strange Days
Thrice The Illusion of Safety

This is actually an awesome album. Musically every member brings it on here. Add in Ross Robinson's awesome production, and it just takes it to another level. Yea some parts sound like Mars Volta, but that's more of a compliment than a negative.
