This is an great album. But not perfect. The length of this album was something that caught my eye
(34min). That would not have been an issue if all the tracks were great. The first 4 tracks were
as good as i expected. Not too long and contained some of their best riffs and vocals. Solar wind
was also great eventhough it ended before it really even started.
But then the last two tracks. I didnt like gojira at first but after couple of listens i found to
be ok. The ending madness of gojira was just great (wish there was more of that).
I really wanted to like the 10 minute song called insanity but it is just too messy. The song,
maybe due to the fact that its called insanity, just doesnt flow at all. The song is filled with
weird stops and rhythms that just dont mix well together. Not to mention it is unnecessary long.
The last few minutes of the song are great but it just feels so out of place. It's like they wrote
a cool drum part and didnt have any place to put it.
This album is filled with great ideas and had the potential of 5 star album but it didnt quite get
there. I really liked the Creations Finest and Off The Beaten Track and hoped that this album
would be as good or even better. But it seems that Creations Finest holds its position as their
best album.
