Perfect blend of their electronic push and their old roots. Much more polished than Beta Love. Known these guys since day one and they've had really bad luck with critics and reception, so hopefully this will bring them back up. 'I Need Your Light', 'Water', 'Suckers', and 'Every Time I'm Ready to Hug' are the ones that really stand out for me.

HAIM Something To Tell You
I'm having fun with it. It's not earth shattering like their debut but it's still a solid record. Probably will forget about it in a week but still
Matt and Kim To/From
Phoenix (FRA) Ti Amo
Love the 80's/VHS vibe throughout. Lyrics are plain and boring, but Phoenix is more about their sound anyways
Phoenix (FRA) Alpha Zulu
I think this has a lot of bright highlights, and dull moments. Tonight, After Midnight, Winter Solstice, Artefact, and Identical are fantastic. The rest is pretty forgettable. Solid 3.5
The Smile Wall of Eyes
The Strokes Comedown Machine
Two Door Cinema Club Gameshow
Beacon was my fav. Tourist history was a bit overrated imo. This is nice direction but it's hard to get into. Album
definitely has its moments but has a lot of flat areas. Invincible, Ordinary and Lavender stood out for me
