5.0 classic |
Deftones White Pony |
The essential Deftones album. Best listened to alone, with only your thoughts. |
Garry Schyman Bioshock Score |
A masterpiece of a soundtrack for a masterpiece of a game. The perfect soundtrack for exploring the dilapidated city of Rapture. |
Jeremy Soule Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Soundtrack |
One of the greatest, most immersive, soundtracks ever written. This soundtrack transports you to the world of Tamriel, right from the very first note. |
Jeremy Soule The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Soundtrack |
The perfect soundtrack for a walk through the forest, or over a mountain, or just sitting by yourself at a quiet pond, and thinking about the world.... |
Lydia Illuminate |
An underrated classic. Worth a listen if you like Indie music with emotional lyrics and themes. |
Mastodon Crack the Skye |
An unpopular opinion, but this is my favourite Mastodon album (Emperor of Sand comes close) but what gets me is the lyrics, and the fact it's a tribute to Brann Dailor's sister who committed suicide when she was only 14. I can hear all his emotions in the lyrics and his vocals. An emotional and moving experience if given the chance for a listen. |
My Dying Bride Turn Loose the Swans |
Opeth Blackwater Park |
The album that got me into Opeth. It was love at first listen and it's an album that made Opeth such a stand out band for me. A true icon in the Progressive music scene and will continue to be one for a very long time. |
Steven Wilson To the Bone |
Steven Wilson expertly blends Prog with Pop. He's an absolute genius for being able to pull it off, while in the process making, arguably, his best album yet. Definitely one of the highlights of 2017 and also of his career as a solo artist. |
