This album has absurd peaks and painful valleys. I want to like the middle chunk way more than I do. |

This record is just so much fun. Absolutely masterful melodic writing, solid orchestration, good song structure, good balance of the vocalists. Things come across as super clear in the mix to me. Only concern is the lyrics can come across as cheesy and take me out of the experience from time to time. |

Despite not being incredibly innovative, this record showcases a lot of strong musicianship through genre mixture, strong counter lines in the guitar, Shizuku's obscenely strong control of her voice, some really well written/played/mixed basslines. This record also has such an incredible amount of fun, with its addictive melodic writing, exciting guitar solos, and driving tempos up to around 170bpm on the fourth track. The songwriting is really strong with the sole exception of some being a little too long. Great listen. |

Really strong playing from the instrumentalists, great, if simple, song structure. Killer hooks, writing and pacing of each tune is superb. My only complaint is that it lacks a definitive sense of risk and identity that characterize the greatest albums. If they took more chances and went hard on ambition, these guys can easily make a 5/5 going forward. |
