Judiciary Flesh + Blood
Killing Joke Pandemonium
Lankum False Lankum
Mastodon Hushed and Grim
The production is fine. It might lack some low end, I get that, because Iīm miss some oomph and crunch, but at the same time itīs probably the most detailed and nuanced production that Mastodon ever had.

This is bathsit insane. Simultaneously the worst and the best acid trip you ever took. Look no further, album of the year.

Spiritbox The Fear of Fear
Fantastic mix of some of the heaviest songs but also catchiest songs these guys have ever done. Somewhat to my surprise, they keep getting better and better, at a point where I honestly thought they would be going arena rock.
Sunless Ylem
Trivium In the Court of the Dragon
Turnstile Glow On
Holy shit, this record shouldīve come out in the beginning of the summer, itīs just a huge bundle of fun, almost every tune is a banger.
Ultraspank Progress
Urne A Feast On Sorrow
Venom Prison Erebos
Early contender for my AOTY, and the 2nd half in particular (starting with Pain of Oizys) is an incredible run of tracks. And when you think about all the exciting perspectives this opens for this band's future, it becomes even more of an achievement.
Voyager Fearless in Love

I was expecting nothing, but I am getting a pretty sweet industrialized-rock album, showing that thereīs still some gas in RP's tank. Surprising.

Kinda strange and disappointing that these guys' new album, 'Familiar With Pain', is not listed here. It came out today and it's a huge leap forward for the band, and likely to be one of the best post-hardcore albums I'll hear all year.
Norma Jean Deathrattle Sing for Me
Polaris Fatalism
Quicksand Distant Populations
Rolo Tomassi Where Myth Becomes Memory
Silent Planet Superbloom
Spectral Wound A Diabolic Thirst
This is pretty great. No bullshit, straight to the point and actually kind of fun. One of my fav BM releases so far this year.
Static Dress Rouge Carpet Disaster
Svalbard The Weight of the Mask
Tears for Fears The Tipping Point
The Soft Moon Exister
Unto Others Strength
This reminds me of the better moments of The Nephilim, or a mix between The Cure and Killing Joke but really heavy. Which means I canīt help but love it.

3.5 great
Bad Omens Concrete Jungle [The OST]
Bunuel Killers Like Us
Dvne Voidkind
Employed To Serve Conquering
King Buffalo Acheron
I'm not as enthralled by this one as by Burden of Restlessness, and it's not necessarily because Burden is heavier, it's because I think the more compact format serves the band's ideas better. They're still not at the point of making 10-minute jams interesting all the way through, IMO.
LLNN Unmaker
Ministry Moral Hygiene
Mizmor and Thou Myopia
Thantifaxath Hive Mind Narcosis

3.0 good
40 Watt Sun Perfect Light
Bossk Migration
A confusing and somewhat frustratng record. Bad sequencing and a band sounding unsure of what they
really want to do. rSome of the ambient bits are actually nicely done although kinda generic, and
when they rock out, they are monstrously good, and thatïŋ―s what makes it frustrating : this is a
band with huge potential to be realized but right now they are a mess.
Horrendous Ontological Mysterium
