You guys said it. They are very energetic and adrenaline pumping melodic metal/rock band from Chicago, Illinois, USA. I really like its simplicity, yet catchy tune and vocals. Tim McIlrath has a really catchy unique voice, which is sometimes melodic and can also scream. And yes the lyrics themselves are something to think about as they are a band who sings largely about politics, standing up for yourself and other issues, eg, "State of the union I trust".
fav track: Give it all, Dancing for rain.

This a great album. It is not classic or excelent. I personally don't think it compared with the previous albums, "The fake sound of progress" and "Start something". The vocals have dramatically improved, although there is a much more poppy sound compared to the existing mainstream rock, (progressive)? dare i say sound they had. I don't know what to expect from these guys next but if they keep going in this direction i'm afraid i'm gonna stop listening to them. Start something and fake sound of progress really got me into the whole music scene. Thanks lost prophets. This puts me off it frankly.
