Ready to DieI remeber being captivated by this album when I bought it in '96 when I was in 5th grade. I think this was the first rap album I ever bought. Now for some inexplicable reason I feel it's the most overrated hip-hop album ever, it has alot of great to classic tracks but I find myself skipping through many of the songs through sheer boredom partially due to the pointless introductions contained in some of them. The singles like Big Poppa and Juicy are immediately accessible and classics of the genre and are probably recognizable to even the recreational hip-hop listener. And this isn't the greatest hardcore rap album of all time, Mobb Deep's The Infamous is, though this did popularize Diddy's signature R&B hooks that can be heard on many of the popular rap songs played on the radio today. The Sword Age of WintersThird Eye Blind Blue3.0 goodAesop Rock Bazooka ToothBlack Flag My WarButthole Surfers ElectriclarrylandDeftones AdrenalineDeftones White PonyDeftones Around the FurDeftones B-Sides and RaritiesDeftones DeftonesEasy Star All Stars Dub Side of the MoonEl-P I'll Sleep When You're DeadFatboy Slim You've Come A Long Way, BabyFugazi In on the Kill TakerGnarls Barkley St. ElsewhereGorillaz Demon DaysIncubus (USA-CA) Fungus Amongusk-os Joyful RebellionLamb of God As the Palaces BurnMedeski, Martin and Wood UninvisibleOasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?Oysterhead The Grand Pecking OrderPantera Vulgar Display of PowerPepper Kona TownPorcupine Tree Fear of a Blank PlanetQuasimoto The Further Adventures of Lord QuasRage Against the Machine The Battle of Los AngelesRage Against the Machine Evil EmpireRed Hot Chili Peppers Mother's MilkRed Hot Chili Peppers One Hot MinuteReel Big Fish Turn the Radio OffRx Bandits ProgressScreaming Trees DustSlightly Stoopid Closer To The SunSublime Robbin' the HoodSublime Second Hand SmokeThe Aquabats The Fury of the Aquabats! The Mars Volta Frances the MuteThe Roots The Tipping PointThe Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and the Infinite SadnessThe Stone Roses The Stone RosesThird Eye Blind Third Eye BlindTool 10,000 Days2.5 average311 MusicAudioslave AudioslaveAudioslave Out of ExileColonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains The Big Eyeball In The SkyDe Facto Megaton ShotblastEminem The Marshall Mathers LPIncubus (USA-CA) S.C.I.E.N.C.E.Incubus (USA-CA) Make YourselfLes Claypool And The Frog Brigade Purple OnionLimp Bizkit Significant OtherMatisyahu Live At Stubb'sPepper In With The OldPrimus Miscellaneous DebrisPrimus The Brown AlbumRob Zombie Hellbilly DeluxeThe Killers Hot FussTransplants Haunted Cities2.0 poor311 311 Day 2004 - Live In New Orleans311 Don't Tread On Me311 Transistor311 Soundsystem50 Cent CurtisEminem The Slim Shady LPKanye West GraduationPanic! at the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat Out1.5 very poor50 Cent Get Rich or Die Tryin'Britney Spears ...Baby One More Time1.0 awfulAshlee Simpson AutobiographyJames Blunt Back To BedlamJay-Z and Linkin Park Collision Course
