| Before listening to this, I overhyped the **** out of this album in my head. Then listening to it led me into a listen that left me disapointed. I can say I'd rather listen to the Ghostship demos, production and all. Which brings me to something thats been bothering me ever since manipulator... why do the vocals sound like thomas erak was placed in a large cement room with the mic one foot away from his mouth. I'd say alot of the "rawness" is still there, just some newly added post-manipulator sound... and less screaming. Not a lot has changed from the Ghostship demos however, I didn't like the changes that were made, besides, of course, the production value. To make sure I wasn't misleading, the album was okay, just not as good as the first recording. |
