5.0 classic
Black Sabbath Paranoid
Wow what a great album, no one is left out in this album. Bill's creative beats and the classic Rat Salad Solo, Tony's amazing bluesey riffs, Geezer's bass is loud and powerful and of course Ozzy's eerie vocals and crazy lyrics put the icing on the cake for this one. Also every song has a distinctness about it weather it would be classics like "Paranoid" or "Iron Man", the drum solo in "Rat Salad" or the eerieness of "Planet Caravan" this album has it all.

Matthew Good Hospital Music
My favorite album of 2007 and for good reason. The record shows a variety of emotions ranging from dark/depressing to quite joyful and relaxed. This not only displayed through his music but through his vocals and lyrics aswell. Despite being a very bare sounding album, as most songs include Good and his Acoustic guitar, the album resists from being dry and every track has something worthwhile (even the 54 second quicky I Am Not Safer than a Bank).

Alexisonfire Watch Out!
This album is very good, great vocals(both Dallas and George), good instrumentation with a mellodic sound yet sometimes heavy aswell. With the exeption of a few fillers this album is a recomendation for post hardcore fans. Try to check out no Tranistory, That Girl Possessed and White Devil all are highlights for me on the album.

Metallica Reload
Ya, Metallica sold out but does this mean ReLoad is somehow unenjoyable? Nope. The record is suprisingly equal of quality throughout. A few guitar solos are present, James' vocals are quite nice to listen to. Though the album is dry in a few parts, most notably on "Better than You", also the lyrical content is a bit off at times.

When I first heard this band I was a metal noob and thought metalcore was the best thing since tap water. Now I realise its mediocrity with repetitve song structures, an inaudible bass, overusage of bad breakdowns and boring drumming. Despite a few tracks that counter this, all that Saints has going for it are catchy guitar hooks and somewhat interesting vocals.
