Would be a 5 except it is too damn short! Insanely good album though, having never heard their first, I can safely say they are one of the most original sounding bands I have heard in a long time.
dredg El Cielo
ISIS In the Absence of Truth
ISIS Wavering Radiant
Im going to have to listen to this again, but from my first listen, this sounds like the same ISIS, and I mean that in the best way possible. They retain everything that is great about this band, while subtly tweaking their sound a bit to be a bit spacier and a bit less harsh. Amazing album, as always from this band

would be a 4.5 because it's an amazing DVD, a very entertaining and interesting concert, but i gave it a 5 because they only met for the first time like a week before that, and they only rehearsed a few times!

Coheed comes back to making their music exciting again. While i have been a fan of all of their albums, by the second Good Apollo they were starting to lose my interest, and with the inclusion of Chris Pennie they have made music which is catchy and epic AND rhythmically interesting again, something which they have lacked since IKSSE3. He didn't save the band, as they have released two amazing albums and two good albums, but he certainly is a very welcome addition to one of my favorite bands.

One of my first heavy albums i owned, this is SOAD at its best. the reason i like it so much is it strikes the perfect balance between the silly, circus-like songs and the serious politically charged songs.

All That Remains The Fall of Ideals
I think this album sounds a bit generic. while the guitar work is pretty good, i feel the drums could use a bit more to them than just the speed it possesses. the vocals also don't do much to draw me in. they are well done enough, just not unique enough sounding.
Eminem The Eminem Show
Fall Out Boy From Under the Cork Tree
Jurassic 5 Feedback
Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
The musical aspects are not too horrible, the songs are catchy, and the sung vocals aren't offensive. Overall this would be a 3 or 3.5 album, but Mike Shinoda's rapping is just terrible.
My Chemical Romance Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium
Staind Break The Cycle
The album is pretty boring. The lyrics are unimpressive, the instrumentals are unimpressive, and there isn't really anything to hook me in.

The Mars Volta Scab Dates
The Streets Original Pirate Material
U2 Achtung Baby
U2 The Joshua Tree
U2 All That You Can't Leave Behind
Weezer Make Believe

2.0 poor
50 Cent The Massacre
Creed My Own Prison
Creed Human Clay

The pro: it doesn't sound much like a lot of music i've heard before.
The con: that's not a good thing, as i think the vocals are annoying, and the music goes nowhere.
Quirky and spastic can only get you so far.
Eminem Encore
Limp Bizkit Significant Other
The only reason this gets anything above a 1.5 is for nostalgia. I loved this band back in the day, and I would still be reminded of my middle school days if I listened to it again. To bad I never would, because it is GOD AWFUL.
Lost Horizon Awakening the World
My Chemical Romance The Black Parade
Pig Destroyer Natasha
while i respect the attempt to try something different from their usual sound, i found this impossible to finish as it was so boring.
