This needs a review. Bad. such a criminally overlooked album with such diversity in sound. Has all of the neofolk leanings of But, What Ends...but with the added variety of the Post-punk/Industrial of their earlier works. The dronelike "The Wall of Sacrifice", perhaps the anchor of this album, expands on ideas from their track "Death of a man", and exceeds in every way. This is an album to experience in full, for the dynamics from track to track create the mood. |
