ugh this. i mean, yeah, they are talented, and they aren't just run of the mill death metal going dwiddly woddly bwoodly woodly, but at the same time it's like most tech music in that it just shoves the technicality down your throat over and over, like a giant dick that you'd love to have taken out if you could say something.rthat aside, i definitely can't say it sucks. very solid songwriting is present. i just wish it wasn't so obnoxious

This is so poor in comparison to what these guys are capable of. It's a culmination of everything wrong with tech genres. Needless wank with no substance whatsoever. Ditching their vocalist was the worst thing they could have ever done. The album is a 40 minute boring jazz influenced, grind influenced jam fest with absolutely zero redeeming features. Every time an interesting moment shows up, LBM take a vicious crap all over it with pointless sweeping or chugging or whatever else. The 5 minute jazz sections aren't very rewarding, either, since because they are bookended by awful metal, they sound incredibly contrived and forced.
