5.0 classic
Arlo Guthrie Alice's Restaurant
A Thanksgiving classic. Arlo's great story telling ability and nice songwriting makes this impossible to not love.
Between the Buried and Me Colors
Essentially one long progressive metal song, one would be hard-pressed to find flaws in this album. This is a landmark in not only the metal genre, but in the progressive genre as well.
Cage The Elephant Cage the Elephant
Cage's youthful energy and raw hook-writing talent make this an album that is incredibly fun and re-playable.
Dirty Projectors Bitte Orca
Bitte Orca is accessible yet intriguing, weaving beauty, eclecticism, and expert musicianship together into a unique and rewarding experience.
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Amazing songwriting, lyrics, musicianship, and replayabilty all combine to make this one cd you'll never want to take out.
Saves the Day In Reverie
Saves the Day Stay What You Are
Streetlight Manifesto Keasbey Nights
Streetlight Manifesto Somewhere in the Between
Sublime Sublime
Prime example of an album that just makes you feel good.
The Format Dog Problems
An amazing rock experience, full of emotion and power. The only thing that holds this back from being perfect is a couple parts that drag a little (the beginning of If Work Permits and Natches). But everything from the Freddie Mercury inspired vocals to the Neutral Milk Hotel jam at the end of the album (you'll know when you get to it) ties together perfectly to make and album that just feels natural.

Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
Animal Collective Fall Be Kind

BTBAM definitely live up to what they put out on Colors, resulting in an amazing live performance.

Do you enjoy:
-Drinking?

-Throwing Things?
-All of the Above?
Family Force 5 Business Up Front, Party In The Back
quite possibly some of the corniest music ever made, but it's still a fun listen.
fun. Aim and Ignite
A supremely fun pop experience. Also, just as a heads-up, fans of Mika will find a lot to enjoy here.

Das Racist Sit Down, Man
When I heard some referring to these guys as "joke rap", it conjured up images of Lonely Isalnd-esque music, but this is quite far from the truth. This is really just stoner rap performed by two very proficient lyricists that write more intelligent and interesting lines than most people in the game today.
Death Symbolic

An album chock-full of overwhelmingly happy music. Its only fatal flaw is that it ends wayyyyy too soon.

3.5 great

3OH!3 Want
It's not deep or revolutionary, but that's not what they were aiming for. You can tell throughout the whole album that they're having a damn fun time and they really enjoy what they're doing. If you're looking for an album that is just plain fun to listen to, and a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously, this is a great one.

AC/DC Back In Black

Against Me! Reinventing Axl Rose
Animal Collective ODDSAC
Some of the longer trance-ish sequences get a little tiresome, and some parts seem a little corny and overdone, but there are a few good songs to be found here and the movie ends before it drags on too long.
At the Drive-In Vaya
August Burns Red Messengers
Although the songs are great and full of power and intensity, this album suffers from "Job For A Cowboy" syndrome. By the time I was nearing the end of the album, I felt like I had heard the same song about 10 times.

the band almost entirely abandons the rapping part of their music, which defined their last album. they also become ever so slightly less corny, but lose some of their fun in the process

2.5 average
Animal Collective Sung Tongs
Architecture In Helsinki Moment Bends
Arctic Monkeys Suck It and See
Atmosphere To All My Friends, Blood Makes The Blade Holy
Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
At the end if the album, I had the feeling that I had not gained or lost anything from this listening experience. This is average, mediocre, "brootal" metalcore at its finest.
Butch Walker Letters
Butch Walker Sycamore Meadows
Dan Black ((Un))
average and insignificant in every way, he also does a pretty weak jason mraz impression

Sick Puppies Tri-Polar

The Young Veins Take a Vacation!
The album is unfortunately very front-loaded, starting off great but totally uninteresting by the time track 11 comes around.

2.0 poor
Green Day 21st Century Breakdown
Hollywood Undead Desperate Measures
Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage (2009)
Taylor Swift Taylor Swift
Three Days Grace Life Starts Now
By the third song, I was hoping the album would just end already.

1.5 very poor
Taylor Swift Fearless
Taylors Swift combines my two least liked genres (country and pop, not Animal Collective type pop, just radio pop) into one monstrosity. She also fails on the emotional level, because while many people "connect" with her high school experiences, I do not, leaving me with just an over-produced piece of garbage by a girl that just happens to be pretty and have a good voice.

1.0 awful
