just listened to this again today and i must say i never really appreciated it great tracks if you take this album on it's merits instead of waiting for another trooper or expecting the album to be as amazing as the early 80's then it's a corker.roriginal score 3.5 how on earth could i have given this any thing less then a 4.5

i agree this is the best hogarth album a lot of good songs but direction seems to be a problem on the whole when this was released i still had hopes that marillion would maintain there status as a top band but sadly they were to slide but on reflection this is a real good album so i'm changing my vote to 3.5

i gave this a 2.5 rating way back and have recently got into it as i bought it on vinyl and listening to an album all the way through helps u connect with it,admittedly this is not a classic but it isn't as bad as all that changes to the complexity of the songs and Bruce almost growling the words out on some tracks i.e like some of the tracks on his solo album does make for a change not what was expected really but a good album all in all

not much in it between Technical Ecstasyrand this but i prefere technical and i gave that 2.5 this gets a 2,and the 2 being for the title track it was all over for ozzy and sabbath here but that was all going to change very soon
