DoofDoof The Filth? I need to revisit them, with metal I am constantly expanding what I know and then that influences my opinion of what I have heard before...the second CoF album I listened to I liked to a 3.5 level. Probably just had got more into the style by then

JohnnyoftheWell oh yeah gotcha - just jams then ig. 'free jazz' is a thorny term that basically means free harmony, or freedom to play whatever tf you like outside of key or chord sequences, and normally has a specific group of artists attached with it lol - poor ol charlie parker was dead by the time it came around, but he didn't need free harmony to rip like a hero
