Idk if its just me but this gives me big mid 2010s Chief Keef mixtape vibes, just less violent and with a bit more melody. Really trippy and cloudy production and I love the drugged out hazy flow this guy has. Consistenly entertaining for a 30 track album.

Let me tell you something boys, these riffs right here are fucking CHUNKY AND MURKY AS ALL HELL! I mean there might not be much variation here but there doesn't need to be. Unadulterated dirty death metal that crawled out the depths of a swamp.

The Flaming Lips Clouds Taste Metallic
Hearing these guys for the first time and clearly seeing that they are one of Grandaddy's biggest influences. Lofi psychedelic indie rock thats drowning in reverb with a dreamy tripped out atmosphere.

Fucking pummeling USBM right here boys. Reminds me a lot of early ....and Oceans with a hint of early Marduk as well. So many hard hitting riffs and the drumming is absolutely bonkers. Vox are batshit also. Insanely good album from a band that I had completely forgotten about.

Celer Close Proximity And The Unhindered Care-All
I could see how this might bore some people but MAN is this some perfectly natural, draining and emotional ambient/drone right here. Ideal album to drift away into a deep sleep or for a brisk night gazing at the stars. Ethereal, hypnotic and breathtaking album.

In Vain (NO) Solemn
An absolutely crushing slab of progressive/blackened death metal. I haven't heard any of this band's previous albums but this is easily one of the best albums I've heard so far this year. Fantastic melodic and doomy riffage with powerful growls and soaring cleans. Even some jazzy moments with the sax on Season of Unrest. Just an incredible, cohesive album from start to finish.

Datach'i Mmale and Ffemale
This shit is like some type of glitchy nightmare that you'd hear playing in the Church of Satan. Dark as hell yet super catchy and like being trapped in a video game from the 90s. The occasional chanting amongst the chaos is creepy as hell.
