10.08.20 | ive only met two or three people on here. yet, through social media, i have had great relationships with a lot of folks from sput. even with those who i have not interacted with outside of the site, i still look forward to seeing your usernames and discussing whatever it is we discuss, day in and day out. it brings me a lot of happiness and has done so for the last 10 years. we all argue and troll at times, yet we are a really tight knit group of interesting people. i know for me personally this site and its users have left an indelible mark on my life due to music recommendations that-at one time or another-have completely blown me away, and even helped change me. people come and go on here, some with a whisper(miss you ire) some with a bang(miss you hepkat), but their presence to many is never forgotten for their unique contributions to this community-and make no mistake-this is truly a community. i have a lot of love for you folks, and you have come up enough in my irl conversations to the point where this site is a part of me and my life. Papa wherever you are, i really enjoyed our late night musings, and you were one of those people who I always got excited to see in the "new comments" tab. likewise you are//were one of those folks i was talking about above, one who has made this site something i want to keep coming back to. i really hope you are in a better place, alive or not. take care sir, you will surely not be forgotten by me and many others. |
