04.02.24 | "Worst"?
Sheesh, Sid Vicious' 4th-rate bass playing should count for something more, shouldn't it? |

04.02.24 | Sid vicious played on one song on the record (Bodies) and it got like mixed out of existence and/or overdubbed. So if you have a problem with the bass playing blame Steve Jones mostly |

04.03.24 | @widowslaugh123: I'm just fuck'n around. "Bollocks" is one of my favorite albums of all time. I just thought this list was a decent joke, and I've always thought it was kind of funny how bad Vicious was as a player, but also how important he was to the Pistols' image at the time, so they kept him around anyway and just turned down his amps at shows.
Seriously, though, if I could rewrite musical history I would definitely try to get at least a second album out of them. I never liked P.I.L. -- or other derivatives like Ian MacKaye and Fugazi for that matter -- nearly as much as the original bands. |

04.03.24 | No apologies necessary -- it's all good. Yeah, P.I.L. is a great band, I've just never -- except for a couple classic tracks -- connected with their albums as wholes. Looks like last year's release wasn't very strong though? |
widowslaugh123
04.03.24 | Yeah the last one was a little weak in my opinion but it has been growing on me albeit very slowly. There are some second hand embarrassment when it comes to the lyrics (Lydon has always been a contrarian) but the music is mostly solid. |
