Yeeeeeeeeessssssss
| |
Won't give a fuck about this band until Choirs of the Eye is on Spotify.
| |
Oh just fucking put it on your local files will ya?
| |
Damn, 2019 at it again.
Hype.

These guys are turning into Michael Keene. Look how many people haven't gotten CotE vinyls yet. They even go as far to antagonize one of the people complaining. Shit is unbelievable, you guys need to read that thread. Right below the album announcement.
| |
lol
| |
Thank God I did not buy a vinyl. Two years. That's just fucked.
In regards to the teaser, it is what it is. Does the job, but I do hope the album art is a little cooler than that.
| |
Yeah the art is a little lame so here’s hoping
| |
yeah why the fuck is choirs not on Spotify lol
it’s by far the best thing they’ve ever released and arguably the greatest contribution to music that driver has given
stoked for this
| |
Really curious to hear this, their last three have each been mind-blowing in such different ways. New song should drop soon I hope.
| |
He probably just wants people to pay for Choirs. Dowsing wasn’t on streaming services for a while either
| |
Choirs isn't on Spotify because it's owned by Tzadik, who refuse to put it on streaming services.
| |
Fripp knows ^^ If you want any music from Zorns label you finna pay for it. But yeah just put it in local files. Stoked for this. Also the link is broken
| |
have y'all tried owning music ??
| |
song names sounding like chapter titles to moby dick if sputnik wrote it
| |
Good news.
| |
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
| |
I don’t know how to fix the YT link sorry y’all
| |
Peeps can jam the video on Facebook, Bandcamp and Prophecy website. Sounds like Castlevania
| |
Castlevania is a good reference yeah
| |
sis, try [Y]WYN-tuP_Izg[/Y]
| |
That’s exactly what I did
| |
smh, maybe toby disabled embedding
| |
Hype hype hype
| |
September can't come soon enough - apparently the album concept is by Jason Byron who did Hubardo's, so even if this is Hubardo II it's going to be brilliant
| |
The press release says this is apparently akin to a more intense Coyote
| |
"Legendary post-metal band"
Hissssss
Hyped for this, teaser won't load but they always pull interesting twists
| |
"The press release says this is apparently akin to a more intense Coyote"
will it be as good as Coyote? Holding my breath after PHOBOS and that teaser, otherwise that box set would've been an instant purchase.
| |
As regarding the Choirs streaming thing again since someone brought up Dowsing, I think that one was a lot easier to secure bc the fact that 1) Hydra Head, for the longest time, wasn't a thing anymore until just recently, which made getting it available for streaming a possibility; 2) and with HH back up and running, Toby probably brokered a deal with the label or got the rights back, as is the case with KD material afterwards AFAIK.
| |
This should be interesting. Choirs was good.
| |
Y’all I don’t think these guys are post-metal lol, I just chose the first genre they’re tagged as on here
| |
KD were post-metal for like two albums (Choirs/Dowsing)
| |
Wouldn't call Dowsing post-metal outside of Gemini tbh, but I guess it fit for Choirs
| |
Jason Byron lent the lyrics and concept behind this album. Last time that happened was for Hubardo so its looking like this album has all the pieces in place for another fantastic spot in there discography. People need to not be so stuck on Choirs of the Eye, Toby and company have never repeated the same record and Choirs was released almost a decade and a half ago.
| |
Fixed the embed. The problem is that you included the entire URL. You only need the text that follows "v=" not counting v=.
| |
smh
| |
Oh oops, thank you Sowing!
| |
okay doot
| |
This year is shaping up to be something special.
I just recently got into Toby's music so this is perfect for me haha fuck yeah.
| |
The Choirs vinyl is definitely a shit show on Toby's part. He should have hired someone to do it for him instead of doing it himself when he didn't have time for the last 2 years.
| |
oh, thats cool 😊😄😃😯🙁🤔😕😅👌😁😂😁😎😯😱🙄😄😮🙁
| |
Can people tell me why the fuck being on Spotify is such a big deal for people? Real question.
Dont you already have it? On Itunes or a physical or downloaded from a blog or whatever. Im old so I just don't get the 'OmG ITs NOt On SpotIfy; shit.
Also got my Vinyl last year. Toby answered all my emails etc Took longer than expected obviously but its there looking beautiful. And HYPED for this. Im pretty sure theres 2 drummers on some of the tracks of not all.
| |
Concept seems interesting. I'm hyped for the return to a more black metal eque sound too.
| |

Cause people would apparently rather not listen to an album if the process would have them endure even the slightest inconvenience. Unfortunately you close yourself off to a lot of good shit that way and also make yourself look kinda lazy
| |
Thats what I figured. I know people have it for 'On the move' and 'In the gym' and al that Jazz too but why have to wait for Spotify to hear it? Weird.
| |
god I hope its as good as PHOBOS or at least close to as good. that is one of my favorite records.
| |
Post metal huh?
| |
Stoked. Band never disappoint.
| |
These vinyl drama queens 🙄 it’s one dude, calm y’alls tits
| |
I got mine :p
| |
that's what you get for buying vinyl
| |
Just realized Trey Spruance is a guest on this.
| |
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
| |
why did you break the page like that?
| |
Excitement. It's good now.
| |
"Can people tell me why the fuck being on Spotify is such a big deal for people?"
isn't that just getlow tho
| |
Awesome news.
Still waiting for those CotE vinyls. Should have bought the cd instead.
| |
"Just realized Trey Spruance is a guest on this."
Y E S
EDIT: Is he? The bandcamp only stated that they'd collaborated in the past...
| |
NIIIIIIIIICE. m/
| |
Oh did I read it too fast? I thought it said he IS a collaborator. Now I'd like to know what he did then.
