This album truly took me by surprise due to the fact that I initially wasn't really anticipating it all that much. But after I heard this grooving bluesy master piece my jaw dropped, somehow Clutch has made their tightest most cohesive album yet. This album is 45 minutes of fun filled fast paced blues additude. This even tops Blast Tyrant due to the fact that it doesn't overstay it's welcome and bows out with The Wolf Man Kindly Requests.. at just the right time. All in all Clutch has made a wonderfully fun album which will keep you coming back for more. Best Songs: DC Sound Attack, Gone Cold, The Wolfman Kindly Requests.

I didn't really care for Beale Street or Strange Cousins, IMO they do fast truckin' songs much better. Glad to see them back, wish I lived in the US to see them live :'(

Clutch's new album is tacky in every sense of the word, from the overused guitar licks to Neil's cringe-worthy lyricism. It honestly feels like Clutch has run out of ideas at this point.

A muscled-up blend of hard, stoner, and blues rock, Earth Rocker brings out the riffs as well as a vocal performance that basically asks you to chin the fuck up. Couple that with a typically Southern groove, and Earth Rocker proves to be a killing modern hard/stoner rock album.

Forgive me, but this band has always produced dime-a-dozen lowest common denominator hard rock, with incredibly boring guitar work, vapid song structures and eminently asinine lyricism. The praise they receive boggles my mind.

Earth Rocker is a cold-as-ice album which showcases the stoner rock group Clutch suffering no evil. There isn't a song or two on here that can even warrant a groan, for this record's tracks are groove-laden, infectious, bluesy, and also all of the above.
