| Arcade Fire The Suburbs I don't care about the type of reviews where every technicality of the album is dissected and analyzed based on some made-up criteria. All I care about is how the album makes me feel, and The Suburbs connects with me emotionally more than any other album has. I love this album deeply, and I don't care what anyone thinks: I feel this is the one of the best albums ever made. | 5.0 09.28.11 | | Marianas Trench Masterpiece Theatre I really enjoy this. I think each song does what it's supposed to; the upbeat songs like "Cross My Heart" make me smile and dance, the ballads like "Beside You" are sweet and sensitive..."Acadia" is full of nostalgia for youth, and the Masterpiece Theatre tracks actually manage to be epic rather than laughable. Somebody told me that if you like Hedley, you like Marianas Trench....this is not true. Hedley sucks. Marianas Trench doesn't. | 4.0 09.27.11 | | Joss Stone Colour Me Free! Joss has a great voice and is a great performer, but this album was missing something. I really liked "Free Me" and "Incredible", along with a couple of others, but I found it just got kind of repetitive as it went on... | 2.5 09.27.11 | | Gwen Stefani Love. Angel. Music. Baby. This is a danceable album, but it doesn't have much staying power. I remember liking this when it came out, but now that I listen to it years later, and after the overplaying of its singles on the radio, I realize that there wasn't really anything special about it. | 2.5 09.27.11 | | Arcade Fire Funeral I don't think there's really anything left to say about Funeral, but I will anyway. It's brilliant, it's beautiful, it's epic, it's fantastic, it's genius....Arcade Fire is the greatest band on earth. | 5.0 09.27.11 | | The Fray The Fray It is not that there is really anything bad about this album, it's that there really isn't much good about it. The majority of the tracks are extremely bland and generic, offering little feeling or creativity. While I do like "Happiness", and "Absolute" is pretty catchy, I thought this was a major disappointment. | 2.5 09.27.11 | | Fall Out Boy Folie a Deux
