Probably their best album contains the real stand out track hurter, but Killhoney, Die Lover Die, Pain Hates Me, Sickness Crown, Ghost Dance all brilliant.

Horsehead Horsehead
Horsehead are an Under rated Australian classic. Essentially a pub rock band with influences ranging from led zeppelin,
the angels, rose tattoo, Aerosmith, an absolute killer live band lead by amazing vocalist Andy McLean. A fantastic guitar
partnership between Scott Kingman and Cameron McKenzie and a solid as F*** Rhythm section with Mick Vallance on
bass and Max War on drums. 1993 saw the release of this opus behemoth of solid hard rock, let the music do the
talking. rLiar, oil and water, power 2, hazy way, and the absolute fan favourite Sun are just some of the killer tunes on
this album.

Mew Visuals
This band is amazing. Another really great album. And again, very underwhelming on first few
listens. But eventually like all their previous ones, the genius transcends to the top. I
personally don't like it as much as the last two, its less guitar driven, more synth sounds, but
the essence of Mew is present, its just great. Really good album

Disagree BK, i think it has his solo work influence over most of it, however its still also very PTree. I think its a cross between Raven Rufused to Sing meets Nil Recurring. Not my final rating but with early listens so far its really quite cool. Also the bonus track Never Have i think is very SW solo ish, reminds me of the pin drop a lot

Besides the track Freak, which is ok, all other tracks are great, some people have claimed side b to be weaker but i think its just as strong if not stronger than side A.
VOLA Applause of a Distant Crowd
Voyager Fearless in Love
I reckon they could of left Best Intentions off, started with Prince of Fire, and that makes for a
killer album. Still fine with BI, I just don't think its a great opener

Theres enough room for VOLA and these guys.

City and Colour The Love Still Held Me Near
Agree, I think the 'dad rock' reference is a bit too easy of a throw away criticism. It's got more substance than that. This is a pretty good album, pretty consistent, I particularly love The Water is Coming. It isn't as varied as Little Hell, but its still pretty strong.
Corrosion of Conformity Wiseblood
Daniel Johns TALK
Im actually shocked how much I do like it. Im more a hard rock type of person, but I just think almost every song on here is catchy and well written. I don't like admitting it as ive never been a big DJ fan even in silverchair days, but this is a good very solid album.

The Darkness Motorheart
The album grows on you, some songs feel a little unremarkable first few times around but like so many of their tunes, they do reveal moments of glory and class after a few spins. Theres some real strong tunes regardless, and you sort of need to buy in to the fun and silliness of a lot of it - once you do its very rewarding
The Darkness Last of Our Kind
I think this album has some great riffs and melodies, and is pretty consistent throughout. Catchy too, no denying. I really dig it! And definitely some humour in there as well.
The Darkness Easter Is Cancelled
Its not their best album, but i like the humour and Heart Explodes is worth it for itself, just loving that track
The Galvatrons Laser Graffiti
The Getaway Plan Dark Horses
Really good album, some of the lengthier tunes haven't really grown on me, although Exodus is good. But unlike zmol I prefer the front half.

This is a grower, and i agree first impressions are of an inferior witness/previous albums.
However i think it might finish up if not on par, just off. First impressions count and
unfortunately cannibal is one of the weaker tunes for mine. But theres some real good stuff
here, there are definite deep cuts, Hollow Kid, Tray, Glass Mannequin. I think they should
of swapped positioning of Cannibal with Paper Wolf, and made that the opener - would of made
a better first impression. But overall, this is another great solid album by them. It will
grow on you.

People need to get over the LZ thing though, because rthe poor scores arent a reflection on the music or product its based on your prejudices. I suppose rall music is though... but more so in this case. Disappointed overall, I really loved their first two albums. There?s just too many songs on here that are just so take it or leave it. I like welcome to DCC, overcome, do you love me yet, foreign language - maybe members only and pop balloon but the rest are so meh for me. rAlso two albums now euth real mediocre album covers
Obituary Xecutioner's Return
Paradise Lost Medusa
Just realising overall it's a disappointment rTwo of the better tracks are the bonus tracks which aren't technically part of this album and they are the best as they are more reminiscent of the earlier (better) stylerThe first album they've Eve done I wasn't that impressed by
