How are people acting like noise rock was never part of this bands sound since the beginning? It's always been around guys

Success is completely different from every other KEN Mode album; this is waaaaaaay noisier and abrasive. It's total Jesus Lizard and other similar '80s & '90s noise rock band worship, but they pull it off EXTREMELY well. If you're into anything Steve Albini has been involved with or really noisy post-hardcore, you'll like this. It doesn't sound like the same band, and I really hope they continue on this road on their next LP. If you listen to just a few songs off of this, I strongly recommend either Blessed, I Just Liked Fire, The Owl, or Dead Actors (which sounds strikingly like Slint).

How is this so low rated? This is clearly their best, mainly because their more focussed on the noise rock part.

uggggh this so fucking good. if you're a fan of old school noisy post hardcore, look no further than this record.

Success is post punk with a bit of technicality here and there. There are a few good songs, but as a whole the album is absolutely nothing special.

A very nice change of pace. This is some great noisey post-hardcore with some influence from Dead Kennedys, as I hear it.

Mid 7 out of 10: I am totally a fan of KEN mode, but I have yet to find an LP from them that I am in love with. This continues with this LP. Good, but nothing super spectacular, in my opinion.
