JohnnyoftheWell 09.30.24	rosemary goon squad entombed leathers swerve city are a good alibi against the generation's worth of mediocre heavygaze that KNY v much did enable, but it's still nowhere near as unfortunate as Diamond Eyes trying to cough up a renaissance statement out of every tasteless guff tendency that ever crept into their sound

Flashmobba 09.30.24	well my top 3 is probably the only one I’ve ever heard: ATF, KNY, and Ohms so I’m probably a bit biased I think KNY did a great job of encapsulating all the best parts of what makes their sound so engaging, both the heavy and soft parts, though I will concede at first it didn’t grab me. I guess I just grew with each of the songs and made memories with em. SNW and White Pony have way more meh moments for me, while KNY seemed to expand on DE’s refined sound with better results.
